People have a strong desire to remain independent at home, and
fortunately, this is often the least expensive alternative. A
technology assist can provide a safer, healthier, and happier
environment. This is what GrandCare is all about.

Our systems are fully featured, flexible, expandable, and value
priced. They are easy and enjoyable to use.
Since 1993, the people of GrandCare have researched and
developed technologies to assist in the care of people at home.

Using a combination of remote environmental sensing, passive
physiological sensing, artificial intelligence, and networking
technologies, Grandcare Systems allows the caregiver to
remotely and passively monitor a loved-one without
compromising dignity or privacy. This reduces caregiver stress
by providing peace of mind all around.

GrandCare recognizes the importance of an active body, mind &
soul by simultaneously addressing the loneliness and social
isolation associated with aging. Family can easily stay
connected by virtually sending communications to the loved
one’s TV or TouchScreen. This not only improves the quality of
life for an individual living alone, but also enhances memory!

GrandCare Systems provides virtual togetherness for family
members and care-partners.
to use.
GrandCare Systems offers the most comprehensive and fully featured product on the market today. It combines aspects of smart
home technology, internet communications, and telehealth in one flexible, user friendly, and affordable package.

The system consists of a central unit, touch screen monitor, which is very similar to a screen used for cash registers at variouse
stores. The monitor is connected to a source of internet, either wired or wireless. The system will then provide a continuous display of
news, weather, pictures, email, reminders etc. to the video monitor.

At the same time, the unit listens to a wide range of wireless sensors, which monitor activities of daily living and wellness.

The system can then be accessed via the internet by remote family or professional caregivers to assess the wellness and safety of the
loved one. The system can be instructed to send an email, text message, or phone call to the caregivers if something is amiss, say
the temperature in the house falls below a certain level. The caregivers can also use the web interface to send pictures, email,
reminders to the touch screen.

The GrandCare system connects to any television set with
audio/video inputs and any fulltime Internet Connection. The
GrandCare sensors are discreetly placed around the
residence and report sensor activity to the system.

Caregivers can view the data on-line and set up conditions to
receive automated alerts via email, text messages or phone
calls.

Family can send communications & cognitive assists right to
the touch screen in the loved one's home.

chosen methods for communicating; some virtual, some not. The HomeBase

format for your aging loved ones.

IMPORTANT INGFORMATION:
GrandCare Systems is a communication and entertainment system. GrandCare is not an emergency device, it is not a medical
device,
it is not a life saving device. GrandCare allows communication between a resident and others who have a relationship with
the resident and are approved by the resident. It is important to note that GrandCare Systems is not a medical or life saving system
such as a
PERS (Personal Emergency Response) that connects to an EMT or call center and it may not be relied upon in an
emergency or crisis situation.

In the event that the resident requires ahigher level of monitoring, a security sytem must be in place, with 24 hour monitoring by a
central station or call center that will summon emergency help.
